We specialize in “affordable luxury” products. Every item in our shop is hand-picked because it fits our signature aesthetic—inspired by the timeless charm of our village (Adderbury), the Cotswolds, and the Oxfordshire countryside. Whether you live in a cottage or a city apartment, we choose pieces that bring warmth and style to any space.
The Team Behind the Magic
Rocket & Be is a true labor of love. The business is driven by the passion of
Cat Longhurst, who has spent years perfecting the art of creating beautiful homes. After running a successful high street shop in Earl’s Barton, a move to Oxfordshire sparked a new chapter. We traded the 9-to-5 life for the dream of building something of our own.
Cat is the creative force and the curator of everything you see here. Her husband, Paul, provides the “magic” behind the scenes. While he is a full-time magician by trade, at Rocket & Be he wears many hats: master box-packer, heavy-lifter, expert tea-maker, and dedicated follower of Cat’s vision.
What’s in a Name?
Family is at the heart of what we do—including the four-legged members! Our original shop, Daisy and Dot, was named after our two beloved dogs who are no longer with us. When it came time to rebrand for our new online adventure, we looked to our current companions, Rocket and Bebe.
To us, Rocket & Be represents more than just our dogs; it’s a reminder to:

Our “Kind to the Planet” Packaging Policy
We care deeply about the beauty of our countryside, and that means being mindful of our footprint. You might notice that your Rocket & Be order arrives in a box that has “lived a life” before it reached you.
Our Circular Approach: Whenever we receive a personal or business delivery, we save the packaging. If it is clean and sturdy, we reuse it to send our items out to you. This means you might receive your beautiful new home decor in a box originally used by another brand.
- Why we do it: Reusing is the highest form of recycling. It reduces waste and saves energy.
- When we can’t reuse: We endeavor to use new packing products that are as kind to the environment as possible, within our means to do so.
It might not always be the prettiest box on the outside, but we believe it’s what’s inside that counts—and the planet thinks so, too!
